this blog is rotting. the last entry was like last yr? haha so tada- i shall be nice and keep this blog alive! (: so here goes. the 1st entry of the yr. =X

so common tests are over! yay! :D let's go out someday during the hols as a cls (: hah but guess most of our cls ppl will be busy with syf and competitions.

ahhh. i realised i got nth else to write actually. hmmm. oh yes. yifang's bdae is round the corner! HAPPY BDAE in advance! (: you're almost 18 so grow up and stop creating scandals for yourself HAHA.

i think i'll stop here. the entry is kinda crap. but at least the blog is updated! that's all!

haha. we went to cine for "night at the museum". pretty funny show.
esp. the part when that statue thingy says: " dumb dumb, i wan my gum gum" and "QUIETTTTT.... my dum dum wants to talk." super funny. haha. ahd a great laugh from tt movie.
and we settled our dinner at cartel! yummy~!

i dont think there is an informal picture that we took which has everybody in our class on it so until then should we not make a layout with our pictures on it? haha that is unless you want to put the one from the class photo shoot. yucks. anyway, i just happened to see this really clean and sweet template so i tried putting it in and made some changes to it. haha dont scold me hor you all said i could put first then ask for opinions. yup. if anybody wants to protest because you feel its a little more to the girly side please feel free to do that because it is indeed so. haha but i think it suits pretty well. so ok can change back to the original template if this one not nice coz got save the old html. oh and who has the password and user for the flashbox because i cant change the colour. comments!

As for the activities you have listed,

No. 1 : I am sorry that I wouldn't be able to accomodate tuition as I need at least 6 months to a year commitment from the volunteers.

No. 2 : Yes, you can interact with the residents through playing board games as well as chit-chatting.

No. 3 : Residents love to go outing but volunteers who are wheeling the residents out for outing must be wheelchair trained. I will discuss with the programme coordinator as well as the occupational therapist whether this is feasible as we do not have secondary school students wheeling residents out because it may be too difficult for them to handle a wheelchair. All secondary school students who come here to volunteer, either chit chat / play board games or help them pack their rooms ( depending if the residents are comfortable with you ).

ya. tts all. for ur info, tis activity is initiated by my fren in hc. she roped in sum ppl to do tis cip, bt apparently its not enuff.. if u guys r desperately nid cip hrs, i tink tis wld b a gd chance for u to gt sum. yeah.

hey guys

would just like to thank all those people who played soccer: laywang yifang shimeng stan name pohswee jingan alvin. you guys did great :) i'm really proud of you guys cos i felt we really gave it our all and played some good soccer! hell, it's even made me like soccer! so great job! although we weren't able to qualify, i must say we did give it our best shot! and it's the experience that counts :) a big thank you to the supporters as well! yuting yonghua roy yongjun! it meant a lot to us that you guys came down specially to support us! it was really heart warming and encouraging! :) and thanks to the rest of the class for the care and concern shown :) it really means a lot to us!

i would also like to give a special mention to stan who really sacrificed quite a bit during the match. take care of those legs! hope you're better!

so once again, thanks to all of you guys for everything you've done :) we could not have done it without you. thank you so much! all the best for pw! we're almost there song hang in there! take care all and have a great weekend! looking forward to survivor with you guys :)

Guys and girls of s12, firstly, don't worry about the other papers, coz it's over already and i screwed up badly too.
look to the future, as what my sis said, "NJC math papers are the toughest in Singapore."

hey s12, i would just like to say a huge thank you to all those who played for this week's captain's ball tournament, namely:

of course, a special mention to SASHA. thanks girl for all that you've done. you were the one that really pulled the team together! thanks for the sacrifice girl and take care! get well soon :)

not that all the other team members are less important, in fact, all of you played an equally important role in the team. thank you so much. i really really appreciate and i'm touched by the very fact that we pulled through as a team and our spirit stayed strong. and yes, i am proud to say we played our best. that's what matters most. most importantly, i definitely had a fantastic time and i would not have traded it for the world. thank you for sharing that moment with me. thank you for playing oh so very well :)

not forgetting the rest of the class! thanks for all the support! all those words of encouragement really made us stronger knowing that the class is there for us. thank you :) we wouldn't have done it without you guys as well! thanks :)

haha, basically i got tis idea only when i saw vincent's nick. he frm 06s06. they so sad, haha, 1 yr can only celebrate once. my class celebrated 4-7 day last time, we went to sum1's house to haf dinner. but i think steamboat is a better idea rite? as suggested by jj, we shld meet at 6.12pm, haha. erm, i dont tink lately gt any new movies leh, so quite hard to watch leh... although tis is abit gender discrimination, i suggest we haf boys outin, play soccer or lan b4 we go meet the gals for dinner. unless sumbody is able to tink of sumthing which both guys n gals can do?? the only other thing i can think which both sexes can do is bowlin, at marina thr. then aft tt eat steamboat. erm, wat do u ppl think??

i would just like to say a big CONGRATS on funtasia! you guys honestly did a fantastic job on the stall. although we may not have been the most profitable, i must say we had lots of fun! and i think that's what mattered the most! i could really see the class spirit despite the many obstacles we might have faced along the way. you guys made me really glad that i've switched classes. so do continue to rock on! dinner was a blast too btw and i couldn't have imagined doing funtasia with any other class. you guys are the best :) i'll put up the pics soon k? sorry! i'm quite lazy today. haha. rest well guys! kudos to amelia and yong hua! and to the guys for doing so well in soccer! :)

well done people we should be proud of ourselves after all the hard work we put in yesterday during funtasia.
we werent the most profitable stall but we sure did our best
thanks to all who supported us : all the house captains, the teachers and our friends
and of course celest who helped through the whole event by MCing for us
In the beginning business was quite slow due to the lack of people
but afterthe crowd started forming and our stall as well as others became really popular
I got DUNKED only once while yifang was DUNKED 9 times (phew!crazy)
anyway funtasiaNJ06 was a great success
we all had great fun, dont u all agree??

This is THE TEAM, the bestest class in soccer.
Sure we were sad, we got 2nd.
But i'm still too damned happy with ourselves.
We rock, we really do.
Thanks those gals who came down to support us, though we lost, you still sticked to our sides and continued pushing us on.
Frustrated, of course, is how i'm feeling with myself right now.
But we all hung on, despite losing out finally 2-0 to Ignis, as well as losing our winning streak for 5 matches straight.
Today's inter-house soccer taught me alot of important stuff, i feel that i've been brought to yet another level.
We learn to cheer each other on, there were times we were misfiring but still Jingan tried to bring our spirits up - And he did.
The face on his face when he injured his right ankle during the final told me how hard he really went for the ball, 110% concentration and focus, and his eyes showed that he didnt want to leave the team for even a few minutes, cause he had the responsibility to lead us to victory.
Alvin persevered with an injured arm he got during the final 1st half, his will power made him carry on, he was playing with a handicap, but still he played well by going for every ball that was near him e.g. sliding etc.
Gosh Jingan brought our team to the semi-s by blasting a long range last second shot into the top left hand corner, as well as taking us to the finals by using the last of his strengths to tackle the ball before slotting it home for a 2-1 victory.

The goals wouldnt have been the back of our opponents' nets if not for our strong class spirit.
Tomorrow's Funtasia, we carried on with the dunking machine despite the bloody Queen Bee's protests. We would definitely succeed after looking back the games we played today. CMY honestly sucks as a civics tutor, she has never gave us support in anything we do, but tomorrow we will prove her wrong. F.Y.I, I even got so pissed with her talking to Jingan about redundant stuffs today cause we were kind of late for the soccer competition that i shouted "F***" right in front of her face. I didnt care anymore, she's just a worthless piece of crap.

Nah shall not say anything about this shitty teacher anymore so as not to spoil our mood.
Today's post is long ( Well at least for our class), and i've got much more things to say, but i gotta go...

Firstly, THANK YOU to Sheau Fong, Jingan, Poh Swee & Marianne for running for our class today. you guys better thank Jingan personally on Monday(coz he would not be coming tmr) coz he pulled his hamstring while running and still continued ! eventually we got 4th for our heats but i thought we did great ! Furthermore, Thanks to Jiazhen and Stella and the other guys who went down to support them too, you guys rock !

LASTEST NEWS : Our Dear Sasha has been named the SOLARIS House Captain ! Hip hip hurray !! She totally deserved it people, and you guys better congratulate her tmr(buy her flowers or something haha). SASHA rocks as a SOLARIS House Captain okay ? she will definitely do a better job than Shawn ! haha.

HEY guys, it's me, Stan again.
firstly, kudos to those who went to bugis to get the banners and all. you guys sacrificed your own personal time just to help the class out. A HUMONGOUS "THANKS" to those who went. ^_^

I'm really sorry i couldnt be there. feeling guilty as Jiazhen & Stella was asking me to go and all.
i think our class really rocks. wait, i don't think. WE REALLY DO ROCK ! we're like the funniest class around, messing others up and all. wahaha

NOTICE : Inter-house soccer is coming up next week. i think most probably on Friday? Solaris would be dominated by guess who? US of course. We are like the only class with a complete team in Solaris. i don't see people from S23 or S18 playing soccer. Neither do i see IP people from our house playing.

This is our team : Jingan(captain), Stan(ME.), Mingzhi, BAE, Shimeng(i don't care you're in the team no matter what. >.<), Liu Shuo, Tong Hern, Yong Hua etc.

It's like 100% our class can. maybe we shall be nice and add a few people from S06 into the "team". mostly subs i guess. ;D. MAN, sucks that Poh Swee can't join us in the team as well. At least we got Mingzhi promoted to the 1st team keeper.
